Michael van Gerwen is the cover star for this week’s issue, the world number one picked up an unprecedented 25th tournament win of 2016 at the weekend. We’ve got a report and reaction from his win at the Cash Converters Players Championship Finals on Sunday.

Van Gerwen’s semi-final win against Darren Webster, which saw the Dutchman trail 6-0 before winning 11-8, is Christopher Kempf’s choice for Match of the Week in the magazine.

Corey Cadby was also lifting silverware at Minehead after he became the first player outside of Europe to win the PDC Unicorn World Youth Championship. Check out our report and reaction inside. 

The draw for the first round of the William Hill World Darts Championship took place on Monday, and we caught up with Mark Frost, the winner of the PDPA Qualifier, to chat about his draw with the defending champion Gary Anderson.
