Jonny Clayton has signed a new three-year sponsorship deal with Red Dragon Darts.
The Welshman, currently ranked 48th on the PDC Order of Merit, made his debut in the William Hill World Darts Championship last year, beating fellow countryman Gerwyn Price in the first round, before losing to Ian White in the last 32.
As part of the deal a new range of Clayton’s signature darts will be launched next month.
“I played on the BDO tour for seven years and wouldn’t swap that experience for the world,” Clayton told the Red Dragon Darts website.
“It provided a great platform and I learned so much. Things have got better and better since I joined the PDC in 2015.
“Winning the 2016 Champion of Champions was a big milestone for me, as was playing in the World Championships.
“Red Dragon Darts is more than a sponsor. They are a true partner and with their support I am looking forward to the challenges ahead.”
