Glen Durrant was back to his best this weekend as he successfully defended the Winmau Denmark Masters in Esbjerg.

The BDO world number one beat Yoeri Duijster 6-2 in the final earlier today to win his first ranking title since winning the World Championship in January.

Durrant, who was a guest on this week’s episode of the Weekly Dartscast podcast, posted an excellent 108.07 average as he beat Wayne Warren 5-1 in the semi-finals.

Then in the final, he once again hit a three-figure average, finishing up on 100.39 as he saw off Dutch ace Duijster, who was playing in his first BDO ranking final.

Sharon Prins won the Denmark Masters ladies title after beating Lorraine Winstanley 5-3 in the final.

Prins edged past ladies world number one Deta Hedman in a deciding leg in the semi-finals, while Winstanley knocked out Aileen de Graaf to reach the final.
