The draw for the inaugural Shownights Winmau European Open has been made.

A field of more than 200 players will be competing for a slice of the £7,040 prize fund at Blackpool’s Norbreck Castle on Sunday.

Lakeside champion Scott Waites defeated Wesley Harms 6-1 in the final of the Shownights Winmau European Classic on Saturday.

He begins his bid for a weekend double with a last 256 clash with Michael Cox.

BDO number one Glen Durrant starts off against Neil Duff in the last 128, while recent World Trophy winner Darryl Fitton opens his campaign in the last 256 against David Gill.

Three-time world champion Martin Adams begins with a last 128 tie against Gareth Owen, while Andy Fordham, Tony O’Shea and Ted Hankey are also among the players aiming to win the category A event set and pocket £2,000.
