Highly-rated youngsters Chris Dobey and Adam Hunt have signed with darts manufacturer Unicorn.
Dobey, 25, who reached the quarter-finals of the PDC German Darts Masters in March, will make his debut in Unicorn colours when he competes in the European Matchplay this weekend.
Hunt is enjoying an excellent year on the PDC Development Tour, with the 22-year-old having won one tournament and reached the final of another to sit in third place in the tour’s Order of Merit.
Player liaison of Unicorn, Matt Rankin, said of the double signing: “We are thrilled to see Chris and Adam join Team Unicorn.
“Both are hugely talented players and we look forward to assisting their development over the coming months and years.”
Current world champion Gary Anderson mentors Dobey and Hunt and said: “Believe me when I say, Chris and Adam are both capable of making a big impression.
“The link up with Unicorn will help that process. They are both cracking players and cracking lads and deserve all the success that is going to come their way.”
